Wherever Nina Lies by Lynn Weingarten

“Nina was beautiful, artistic, wild . . . and adored by her younger sister, Ellie. But one day, without any warning, Nina disappeared. Two years later, Ellie can’t stop thinking about her sister. Although everyone else has given up hope that Nina will return, Ellie just knows her sister is out there, somewhere. If only Ellie had a clue where to look. And then she gets one, in the form of a mysterious drawing tucked into the pages of a book. Determined to find her sister, Ellie takes off on a crazy, sexy, cross-country road trip with the only person who believes she’s got a chance — her hot, adventurous new crush. Along the way, Ellie finds a few things she wasn’t planning on. Like love. Mysteries. Lies. And something far more shocking — the truth.”

At first reading the basic description(without any spoilers!) i though oh this looks like a cutesy read and at first it kinda was but the more your reading it its like “oh was i wrong” because all that happened in it wasn’t what i first thought the book would be. And there is one surprising twist in the end too(and those are always good).
This is a book i would definitely recommend everyone to read.

If I Stay by Gayle Forman

“In a single moment, everything changes. Seventeen year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall riding along the snow-wet Oregon road with her family. Then, in a blink, she finds herself watching as her own damaged body is taken from the wreck… A sophisticated, layered, and heartachingly beautiful story about the power of family and friends, the choices we all make—and the ultimate choice Mia commands.”

In the beginning of If I Stay its seems like a very happy family that is very close family that decides on a snow day to go visit some friends that they havent seen in a long time, but plans change. In the book it shows some very series issues but at the same time it has very funny things. From Mia remembering times when she was a little girl to times of her falling into love it shows a lot about her what her life was and with her having to make the choice of to live or to just die, since her parents and brother had died.It was a very good book all around.I honestly dont think there was one thing that i didnt like about it except me not wanting it to end.

Secret Society by Tom Dolby

“An eccentric new girl. A brooding socialite. The scion of one of New York’s wealthiest families. A promising filmmaker. As students at the exclusive Chadwick School, Phoebe, Lauren, Nick, and Patch already live in a world most teenagers only dream about.
They didn’t ask to be Society members. But when three of them receive a mysterious text message promising success and fame beyond belief, they say yes to everything. Even to the harrowing initiation ceremony in a gritty warehouse downtown, and to the ankh-shaped tattoo they’re forced to get on the nape of their necks.
Once they’re part of the Society, things begin falling into place for them. Week after week, their ambitions are fulfilled. It’s all perfect—until a body is found in Central Park with no distinguishing marks except for an ankh-shaped tattoo.”

The Secret Society will definitely keep anyone entertained,i don’t think for one minute that i got bored reading it(even when i was up reading to who knows when when having to get up early the next morning..)it has so many different things in it, even some romance :).I am definitely looking forward to when the next one in the series comes out.

It will be coming out on September 29,2009 and is one book that you will want to keep your eye on!
